Join Jax Dragonfly Academy as we learn how to navigate using a map and compass, then find the pirate's treasure! Students will get to take home their own compass.

Activities include:

• Learning how a compass works and how to use one

• Learning how to read a map

• Using teamwork to find hidden treasures 

• Creating a map using orienteering skills

​

The length is approximately 90 minutes, but you may stay after the program to explore the park.

This program is designed for students Ages 6+. Students ages 4&5 may participate with parent assistance, however the content is geared towards students that are able to read in order to recognize compass directions. Please reach out if you want more info to decide if this program is right for you!
