Who is This For
This class is appropriate for kids ages 5+. The class will have fun, hands-on learning to engage younger kids, while still being challenging enough for older kids. Please see our FAQ page for any questions.
What to Expect
We will begin by going on a 15 minute hike through the coastal hammock (bring appropirate shoes). Then we will head to the shore and do some water quality testing using tools that scientists use. We will observe the land and land creatures before venturing into the water with nets to see what we can catch. This location has no running water and only portapotties. The class should run about 90 minutes, but feel free to stay afterwards as long as you like.
What to Bring
Water shoes or walking shoes(we will start with a 15 min hike) shorts or clothes that can get wet (swimsuits are ok), water bottle, sunscreen; optional: personal nets or buckets
Note: You will get a confirmation email from email@example.com and a reminder email 1 day before the event. You will NOT need to print out your tickets, but have the name you registered under available when you arrive for check-in.
