What to Expect

Let's discuss an essential bushcraft skill - fire! Get hands-on with lighting your own fire with flint & steel and all natural materials. We will be making some fireside snacks like cinnamon rolls on a stick, caramel apples, popcorn, wild foraged tea, or whatever is available that day. Let us know if you have any dietary restrictions!

This is not a drop off class. Parents of children 12 & under must stay for the duration of the event.

Who is this for?

This program is designed for students ages 6-16, but students ages 4&5 are welcome to participate with parent assistance. Students will be lighting real fires and discussing safety and technique for fire lighting, so keep this in mind when considering whether or not this is for your child.
