About the event
What is Dragonfly Nature Club?
Dragonfly Nature Club is a way to get kids Ages 6-13 in the greater Jacksonville area outside exploring nature. We strive to push kids out of their comfort zone by engaging in challenging seasonal activities tailored to each group in areas of science, nature, bushcrafting, survival, and environmental education.
Daily Rhythm
Morning Circle Games & Welcome
Small Groups - Students will split into small groups based on ability and experience to participate in a leader guided activity
Explore Time - Each session will have a new invitation to the forest: hike and explore, or an open ended activity that will challenge explorers in new and interesting ways. Examples: students may use nets to catch bugs, climb trees, build hideouts, or practice their skills.
