What to Expect

This class will run about 90 minutes and kids will get to perform 3-4 hands-on chemistry experiments. We will learn what an acid and base are, how they intereact, make some amazing mixtures, then end the class with a fizzy, messy experiment! This class will get messy, so come dressed for a mess. 

Who Is This For?

This program is appropriate for kids ages 8+. We will be learning some chemistry basics about acids and bases, and kids will get to perform hands-on science experiments. If you would like to register a younger child ( ages 5-7), you will need to assist them with activities during the program. Younger siblings are welcome to watch.

What to Bring

Clothes that can get messy, a plastic bag if you want to take home your slime at the end, bugspray(depending on the time of year, since we are outdoors)
