We will meet at the pavilion near the playground at the very back of the park. (Pavilion 1 or 3)
What to Expect
We will be water quality testing and getting an idea of the habitat and plant life to start off with. Then, we will go exploring around the pond for critters and attempt to identify them.
Who Is This For?
This program is appropriate for school age children through high school. This class has a focus on experiental learning, so kids are encouraged to ask questions about things they find along the way. It will be fun and hands on for the younger kids, while still being challenging enough for older kids. This is not a drop off program.
What to Bring
Bugspray, water bottle, closed toed shoes or sandals, long pants for walking through brush. We will not be going into the water.
