We will meet at the pavilion near the playground at the very back of the park. (Pavilion 1 or 3)
What to Expect
We will begin by playing a pond game. Then we will be water quality testing and getting an idea of the habitat. Finally, we will go exploring around the pond for critters and attempt to identify them.
Who Is This For?
This program is appropriate for school age children through high school. (Ages 5-17) It will be fun and hands on for the younger kids, while still being challenging enough for older kids. Parents are welcome to stay during the program.
What to Bring
Bugspray, water bottle, closed toed shoes or sandals, long pants for walking through brush. We will not be going into the water.
