When you arrive, park in front of the playground. We will meet under the oak trees on the right of the playground. In the event of rain, we will be under the covered pavillion. Bring a rain coat!

What to Expect

This class will run about 90 minutes. Students will learn how to use a compass, how to read a map, and other orienteering skills. They will then use those skills to find the pirate's treasure! After the class, take home your compass to use again and again.

Who Is This For?

This program is appropriate for school age children through high school. This class has a focus on experiental learning, so kids are encouraged to ask questions about things they find along the way. It will be fun and hands on for the younger kids, while still being challenging enough for older kids. This is not a drop off program.
