When you arrive, park in the main parking area, then follow the trail towards the pier. We will meet at the large picnic area in front of the pier. There are only portapotties at this location.
What to Expect
We will begin by going for a walk through the forest to observe the many colors. Our mini lesson will teach kids about why those colors are important to the environment. Then we will extract colors from different plants and use them to make art.
Who Is This For?
This program is appropriate for school age children through high school. (Ages 5-17) Parents are welcome to stay during the program.
What to Bring
Bugspray, water bottle, closed toed shoes for walking
